Saffron Pudding

    Mix all the ingredients except the raisins and extra ghee

  • 2

    Grease a deep dish with the extra ghee, sprinkle the raisins on it and pour the above mixture

    Cover the dish with grease proof paper and tie it down to seal

  • 4

    Steam the pudding for 15 minutes or until a knife inserted in its centre comes out clean

  • 5

    Let it cool slightly and cut it into square shapes

  • 6

    Then serve it warm

INGREDIENTS
  • 300g plain flour
  • 6 tsp ghee
  • 6 tsp semolina
  • 6 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Shree Ganesh Saffron strands soaked in 2 tsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
  • 1 tsp extra ghee
  • 2 tsp raisins
